This comprehensive course covers essential concepts and techniques, including adult, child, and infant CPR, choking relief, and the use of barrier devices and bag-mask devices. Participants will also learn how to recognize the signs of a heart attack, stroke, and other medical emergencies, and how to respond appropriately in each situation.
The BLS Initial Course emphasizes the importance of effective team dynamics and communication during resuscitation efforts, preparing participants to work collaboratively in a healthcare team or emergency response setting. Through interactive lectures, video demonstrations, and hands-on practice sessions, participants will gain confidence in their ability to perform life-saving interventions in various scenarios.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider Course Completion Card, which is valid for two years. This certification is widely recognized and accepted by healthcare institutions, professional organizations, and regulatory agencies nationwide.
Whether you are a healthcare provider seeking initial BLS certification or an individual interested in acquiring life-saving skills, the BLS Initial Course offered through the American Heart Association equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and enhanced community safety.
